Fish Favouring One Side Of The Tank

Ive recently started to stock the 100ltr tank. Ive now got 4 plants in and 6 Tiger barbs.

I was wondering that if they were favouring one side of the tank as i have the back and the right hand side of the tank covered with a black background, i did the right hand side as to the right of the tank is were we keep the spare breakfast bar stools then the fridge so wouldn't be seeing anything from that side really. Is this a possibility they are favouring the left hand side at the moment?

Can upload a picture of the tank so far ( early stages still due to student funds and new to the hobby ). Plus my LFS requires being driven too and my house mate has broken his hand surfing

Guess it's possible, but I'd just give them a little time to settle down - they may start to realise the 'other side' is just fine once they settle in
