Guppy tails usually grow back given the correct water parameters. How big is the bucket? Is it something like the size of a toy box? Could you get a small heater somewhere?
If you are really sure it was the others, then it is probably best to rehome them or set up another tank for them, but it would have to be at least 10 gallon. Are there any Facebook groups local to you? I don't know if you have it in America, but something like preloved, freecycle, gumtree? Someone will surely take them off you. Or the LFS, just ask and give them a try.
