Fish Changes

The shellies will be leaving next week. One of the planted tanks, havent fully decided which yet, will be pulled down, If its the 4ft, then the rainbows will be sold. If it is the 2.6ft, then the fish from there will go into the 4ft.
 
The platinum angel (which is not well currently and under treatment in a hospital tank) and 2 platinum gouramis will move to a different tank, i may or may not decide to keep them. Same goes for the Sevs, i am thinking of selling the green sev and just keeping the gold. I will be keeping the betta sorority....and Diablo the BGK.
 
So goldies and SW is the direction i am heading in...
 
Will update as decisions are made and tanks stocked with final inhabitants

Yes i love my girls. I will be upgrading their tank size though as i want to get some more girls in the future. The 2.6ft tank i picked up cheap last week will possibly be their new home eventually.

The planted 2.5ft is no more.....all has been moved into the 4ft
 
The poor neons and cardinals...rainbows were like sharks lol All schooled up now and the rainbows have finally realised i wasnt putting them in for them to eat lol. The cherry shrimp arent as stupid as the tetras, they headed for cover REAL quick lol

Shrimp are survivors LOL. The big Shrimp in my tank have realised the Betta is no threat so they are out most of the time, They don't even scatter when she swims by.
 
Pitty the same didn't apply to the Rasboras, It started ok but in the last few days OMG I had to re home them.

The 4ft is well planted enough the shrimp will breed up.....any real nice red ones will be taken out and kept for a breeding program i wanna try

So gonna sell off any tanks (other than the custom 2ft) that are 2ft and under

So the new 3ft is in....phew what an effort darn thing is 50cm high lol....thinking this one will be my reef tank and i can hang HOBs much easier as it has no support bar in the way, and the 3ft lights i have will cover the top fully....I gotta give it a good clean and leak test it....

So today is WC day, and i am also going to finally empty and clean out all the empty tanks i now have. Once they are all cleaned i can then work out who is going where. I also need to level a 2 tiered stand i have, notice it is leaning to the back and slightly to one end, frustrating!
 
Finally will be thinning out the 5ft goldie tank, it is way overstocked!

So far
The 2 tricolour telescopes and the panda have moved into their own 2.6ft tank

Oh and i think i have decided not to use the new 3ft for marine, but rather the old 3ft i have here. The new 3ft isnt very wide and i want to have some scope to put live rock in and not have it crammed up against the back wall. My old 3ft is 18" wide so quite a bit more room there (but this is subject to change as i move things around lol)
 
I will get a stand made for my old 3ft, that will allow me to put the canister and the chiller underneath out of the way

The betta sorority is in the custom 2ft, need a bit of a scape, but they are in there lol
 
The 2.5ft tank is on the 2nd tier and warming up ready for the ranchu to move in, it is running sponge filters. The new 2.5ft is now on the 1st tier, not filled, as i think i will reseal it before i use.
 
The 620T & stand has been moved into the fish room, and will become home to the gold severum (the green sev is going tomorrow). After my cup of coffee, this one is going to get a clean and then back up and running, when warm the Gold Sev will move in
 
The AquaOne 320 & stand has been moved into the fish room, This will be getting a tidy up and become home to the red cherry shrimp i have in my "to enhance colour" breeding colony

The newer 3ft is now out in the pool room, i have scraped the sides and back to get all the old paint off as it was in really bad nick...now i gotta decide to repaint it black/blue or some other colour........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
 
The ranchu are now in their tank....i'll be doing a large WC on the 5ft before the night is out....the goldies have got some serious slime coat happening, i dont like that, so BIG WC coming their way!
