Fish Behavior Question

i have two honey gouramis. one is a male and the other is female, and i notice the male has become very dark, almost black...his top fin is a bright yellow and they appear to be locking jaws. this sound familiar to a mating thing? do they seem to be getting ready to mate or are they fighting?

yes i agree with rockunurworld, mine did this, i also checked the ammonia in my tank, as i was advised it could be burns

hi we had high ammonia and none off our fish changed colour so i think that he's ready to mate
