I will try too, and by then I should have my 55 up and running.

Where is it at again?

Nothing too out of the ordinary there. Someone was trying to see a 5'x8'x2' tank, lowest price I heard was $200. That was so tempting, though if I pulled up in the driveway with that in the back of the truck my wife would never let me in the house.

Good auction, prices were fair for buyer & seller. Nice day for driving, found a KFC buffet on the way home, all & all a pleasurable day.

Yeah, IF only. I wish I had that tank there. There were some Lelupi(sp?). They are pretty hard to find. Our club leader( also auctioneer), told me he hasnt seen those in over 10 years. There pwere probably 20 Lelupi sold. They got very good prices too( 14 dollars for 3 fish ect.). Tolak, your soooo lucky you found a KFC buffett. I havent been to one since, last Oct.!!!!!!!!!!!

FHM: The Auction is in East Peoria, IL

I saw the price on those leleupi, I've got them breeding, and about 50 or so fry about 1 1/2". Should have brought them down, but I'm on a storage area cleaning spree ATM. I've got gear in boxes I've forgotten that I own, which means I'll probably never use it, may as well let someone else have it.

I would say that would be like a 7, maybe a little less depending on how fast I wanna drive that day, or so hour drive.

So you may actually see me there this fall! :hyper:

EDIT: Map quest says it is a 7 and a half hour drive, so I was pretty close when I said 7 hours...lol.

oooooh well im origionally from brookfield IL which is just outside of the city..i really hope there will be an auction when im up there for summer or something!! only problem is though that id have to transport the fish to kentucky once summer is over...

An easy auction for KY would be the one at the ALA convention in Indy on April 26. The next CAFE auction in Champaign is July 17. Circle City is having one in June but I don't recall the date. I picked up over a dozen angels at the Peoria auction and some other misc items. I also got some BNP at 3 for $5.

Yeah, there was angels galore. You may want to watch out though if they were from Dennis( his name will be on the bag). From what I've heard, they are poor quality imports.
