First Neons

Instead of cardinals, I would go with more neons. Many species will not shoal together with other species. So, even though the two look similar, you will have two groups. And since they do look so similar, why not have a larger neon shoal? I have 10 in my 20g long. It looks amazing. A very different sight from 3 or 4 hanging out together.

But, that is all just my opinion.

as above......mixing neons with cardinals seems pointless.

a decent shoal of one or the other will look a lot better than a mix of both.

i have 25-30 cardinals in my 90g and they look great.

i put neons in my tank after the tank had only been running for 48 hours. a month later now and they seem to be thriving.

Ok say i go for another 4-6 neons, i also want a snail eating fish due to snail problems and also 1 or 2 more schools... WHat do you guys suggest.
1.snail eater?
2.1 or 2 more schools of what?

I have added another 5 Glowlight Tetra, i thinking of adding another 4 neon tetra to make a total of 10 and another 3 glowlight tetra to make a total of 8.
Also i would like to add 2 loaches because of snail problems.
What do you guys think?
