First Cichlid Tank

Here's a few fish from my first Cichlid Tank. Photography is a big hobby of mine now, and I just got a new toy to play with, so like usual my little fishies were willing subjects for me to test it on. Don't let the photos fool you, they're all about 2 inches or less.

I'm happy to see that my yellow lab is doing much much better, he was getting picked on, and for awhile his fins were pretty ragged. So far other than a minor chase, everyone is getting along just fine.

Sorry for the slightly out of focus shots on the yellow lab, the AF didn't like the bright yellow, and he doesn't like to sit still for me to manual focus easily.

Kind of an odd selection.

It is an odd selection. Unfortunately my LFS doesn't have a huge amount of cichlids to choose from. Most are new world cichlids.

The pic after the yellow lab, is that an apistogramma or some sort?
