First Cichlid Tank

hi,

i'm new to the hobby but i've grown to really love it. i just started a cichlid tank. i have 2 baby convicts, 2 baby angelica cats, 2 young giant danios, a pleco and 2 baby blue jack dempseys. However one of my jacks disappeared and i'm kinda worried. it was the smallest in the tank but not by much. there had been no aggression towards it at all. so my question, can the other fish eat every piece of him in by the time i come home from work even tho they aren't much bigger than it? there is absolutely no pieces left.

plecos eat meat and would have ate the whole thing once it died. with the help of the other fish

i thought plecos were herbavores.

bones and all?

there omavores, they will eat meat, some algaes, and wood

the bones would have been so small they would have just fell in the rocks.

thats a lot of big, waste producing fish... what size tank?
