Firemouths Breeding?

Can anyone describe to me how firemouths look when they're breeding/courting? My pair who are usually always together and sometimes wrap around each other gently are now acting strangely. They are swimming wrapping round each other quite fast and then suddenly breaking away violently, sometimes darting at each other like they're fighting but i don't think they are. is this mating behaviour?

This wraping around sounds like they are trying to see if the other is strong enough to mate.
