Firemouth Compatibility

I have a 48-gallon aquarium with 2 large angels, 4 pearl gouramis, a red-tailed shark, big pleco, Congo tetras, black phantom tetras, skunk corys and a few others.

I saw some beautiful, healthy firemouth ciclids at the pet store and was wondering if I could get a couple. Ever since I saw Westwood's aquarium photos, I have wanted some firemouths.

I was wondering how big they get and if they are aggressive toward other fish.

I'm no expert with Cichlids so somebody correct me if I'm wrong but Firemouths are very aggressive fish. Too aggressive for Pearl Gouramis, Angels, Corys and probably a few other fish you have depending on their size.

I'm sure someone will knows better will come along a correct me if I'm way off base but I wouldn't risk it myself.

That tank sounds full anyway no?
