Fire Extinguisher Type And Ingredients

I heard that some fire extinguisher has chemicals and are not fully co2 based. Any hints on how to check? I saw one at Canadian Tire and their site is www.adt.com

It should say on the fire extingusher, Co2 base or chemical based

If its a co2 FE that it'll be CO2, there shouldn't be chemicals in it as far as I am aware.

You'll be hard pressed to find a co2 fire extinguisher in any of the major stores. I've been searching for one as well. Even the specialty stores only special order them in southern ontario. If you find a source please let me know!
