Fire Eel And Frozen Foods

Im wondering is it a pointless effort or is it possible to get my fire
Eel to eat frozen foods,,, i got him 2 week ago, he is around 9". Iv been trying to feed him mysis, brine shrimp, blood worms, shrimp, even scallops and salmon, he only sticks his nose up at it! i was worried about him not eating so i gave him some worms gobbled em up straight away !! iv heard its best to introduce them to frozen foods when there younger,,, i presume he is still quite young at 9" any suggestions? thanks

they're funny fish sometake frozen straight away some would rather just starve!!

mine takes frozen prawn and thats it other than live earthworms. not ideal and I've had him for a couple of years I think now

i had to starve mine a little bit before mine would eat.

mine eats anything even pellets had him from 2-3" hes now about 15" will probably eat half a prawn or mussel a day / whatever the stingray doesnt get to in time
