yeah. they're nice, but i would like a bulkier shape. (typical cichlid shape)

i do like the rainbow cichlids. i think they've earned a spot in the race.

as for other tankmates, maybe few more danios, as well as some cories and a small algae eating plec of some sort.

nannacara anomala superb!!! fish very peacefull + shoal of danios will actually make it go out from cave !!!!

yeah they fit all of my criteria except the size. they are nice, but a little too big, imo.

Oooh, good call. As long as you get him from somewhere that does good quality fish - I got mine from one place, the looked in my local MA and their sajica weren't anywhere near as impressive.

Great fish cichlasoma sajica, always curious and really striking looking.
Rainbows a nice option too mind.
