Finaly Getting There

Hi guys

My cycle finished on my juwel vision 180 this morning , tonight i added all the fish from my small 30ltr (was overstocked), also got into live plants , i know its not the best set out tank but hopefully i'll get there

Just a little pointer: i think the plants at the back look too uniformed, shouldn't be in such a neat line.

That looks pretty good to start. How many of those little white fish do you have? I think they're called Harlequin Rasboras, right?

yeah theres to much amazon swords in there at the moment, 5 was the min order at greenline , once the 30ltr is back up and running im gonna take a couple out and stick them in that.

got 10 harlequins m8, they just dont stop lol

at the moment i have

10 harlequins
6 neons (going to up that to about 16)
3 albino corys (will be getting another 3)
3 ottos

yeah the 30ltr was well over stocked thankfully they all done fine

im still undecided what to get next, i realy fancy a couple of blue rams and maybe 3 glass cat fish.

Will look much better when it all grows in. Nice selection of fish aswell! I think you should get a pair/trio of dwarf gouramis to finish it off.

He, you have basically the same fish as my 30 gallon. Blue rams should be good. I've not kept glass cat fish in a long time, but I think they should be OK as well, since none of other fish are aggressive.

Got 2 blue rams today, 1 male 1 female , the female seems to be giving the male a wee bit of a hard time from time to time but mostly they swim together without any trouble , they looked as if they were doing a bit of courting earlier, there colours got so much brighter , also got 3 panda Cory's , there fins are a little ragged, think that's due to being in a tank with barbs ( green & tiger), there was only 3 left so took the wee fellas in was originally wanting them anyway so makes it feel all the better that iv saved them from all the nipping another 3 would have been good but they seem to be getting on great with my 3 albino Cory's.

How good does it feel when your tanks is finally coming together

i feel a wee bit sad as all iv done for the last 4 hours is watch the tank lol

Tank looks really nice I like it lots I like my 8 Harlequins as you say they are non stop I also have a pair of rams they are beautiful

i can totally see why callum, i was at ultimate aquatics (voted best Scottish aquatics shop , wouldn't say that though for fresh water but Marine i could believe it) today and they had a huge Marine section , iv never seen a Marine section like it, i would love a Marine tank myself but its just to much expense at the moment ..

Sugarcube do you have a pair of rams?? just wondering of the bickering between them will settle down ..

i now see why everyone likes there panda Cory's , there just so cute , there following the albinos everywhere lol
