A transformation is starting to happen, with these pagodas I put as hard scape in my Hillstream tank… I had hoped that the roofs, being closer to the surface, and the light would start to grow algae faster than all the Hillstream’s could eat it, and the roofs would shade the walls some, so they didn’t get completely covered…there is an amazing variety of Hillstream Loaches in this tank, and maybe as many as 20 of them, as many are quite tiny… this little guy, is getting some breakfast, at 1st light this morning

I believe that is one of my smallest varieties, a Vietnamese Tiger Hillstream it’s nice to see the adult Tin Foils have no interest in snacking on him

In comparison, to the much larger Vietnamese Lizard Hillstream’s, that mostly hang on the back of the tank, in the bubble water fall, when they aren’t playing with the Panda Garras
