Finally Upgrade From Biorb 7Gal To A Proper Fluval 33Gal

Yeah, standard T8 tubes changed one of the tubes to 6,500k so that have more subdued lighting but the crypts don't seem to doing so well, so may change lighting back to previous setting or change to LED lighting, not made up my mind yet, will wait after xmas as wallet is empty!

Hmm LED sounds interesting, do you mean conversion kit or extra lights? And i'm the same, not buying any more stuff for those fish till after Christmas. Maybe.

Conversion to LED, with dimmer and controller is along the lines of what am thinking of.
 
Want lights to behave more naturally, slowly brightens to max upon switching on and slow dimmed to off when switching off, my Threadfins don't like the sudden on/off lights that occurs every day when timer starts and sudden off at end of evening.

Yea I do like the sound of that but what about plants? I thought LED lacked the power needed? If you know of a kit I would love a link

When i get things about LED's all figured out, i'll do a thread about that and how much it cost and how to set it up etc. How's that sound?
