thanks. it will quite often come down and sit on that rock right at the front of teh tank. but usually as soon as i get the vcamera it shoots off. today it actually sat there for me

love these fish, I'm usually good with plecs but I had one of these last year and it really struggled until it faded away

My L25 does the same, comes to the front and as soon as I move hes off to his cave

Great fish
I used to have the same species of plec when I kept trops nearly two years agao now. He always seemed to be hinding behind bogwood but couldnt resist comeing out for an algea biscuit.

Good looking nugget. Both of mine got really tame and I could habd feed one of them and the other would be out and about and take no notice of what went on outside the tank. They take a while to gian your trust though.

Nice fish i actually quite like how your sands so white looking and clean too lol . Broke my gravel vac so mines got poop all over it .

i just use a length of garden hose with the bucket clip from my gravel vac . suck to start the syphon. does thee job a treat. even managed to get it down to an art so i dont get a mouthfull of water and have got it so that in between buckets i keep the hose full of water so i only have to manually start syphon 1st time .
