what do you think?

I think it's cute. The tank looks good. What size tank is that? How many do you want to get?

its a 4ft Fluval getting another one tomorrow and ill see maybe 2 more later on

Cheers Matt hopefully the next edition will make it look even better. I've just emailed Leicester Discus to see what their prices are like.

Thats what I am doing. Getting another one this week. Then see how they get along. Then when I have my stock worked out I will look for 3 more.

Pretty discus you have there. Do you live in the UK? if your in the US I know a few breeders that are reasonable if your buying 3-4+ but other than that shipping works out more than the fish, just isn't practical :/ .

In the 20 gallon or are you setting up the other tank?

Yeah the 20 gal is my hospital tank to make sure they are eating well and healthy. It's easy to do daily wc in a 20 gaI. I have a 100 gal and 80 gal I can use for the discus. Just need to sort out my stock before I can add discus them to one of the large tanks.

Im in the UK and from what it seems its a dead zone for cheap Discus lol

The word cheap and discus do not fit in the same sentance. :) $20 is the best price I can get on a 2" fish.

well he seems to have settled this morning the black bars have faded and his blues are more vivid

Haha I understand the frustration about cheap discus. Trying to find bargains can be a real pain in the rear and I learned fast that sometimes its best to pay up a little. Not trying to knock any cheap fish but you really do get what you pay for. Unless you can see the fish in person, or know a very reputable dealer then I'd steer clear of "cheap" stories.
As far as water changes go you should start figuring out how your going to do it on your big tanks, water buckets and your normal siphoning just isn't going to be effective

thanks for the post ajs but i already have my water change methods sorted i used the python technique
