Finally Got My Neons Today

i purchased 10 neons today to go in 55 ltr hex (with stand i think its a 16x16 or 18x18) - collecting it sunday
neons are in the very well cycled quarentine tank at the moment and will be there for a while
the hex will have a cycled filter fitted to it (one that has been running in one of the other tanks along with exsisting ones for 6-8 weeks)

The tank will be planted and have planted bogwood and a sand substrate
It will be housing 8 baby black corys (1cm) until they grow on a bit and are ready to go in one of my other tanks and the neons

eventually it will house 10 neons and 15 brigitte rasboras , and some dwarf corys (habrosus) with some cherry , tiger snowball or crs shrimps (not sure yet)

I'm not a fan really of hex but have run out of room and it should look quite good stood in the front room (well it will fit lol) when its all done up
it only cost me £11 on ebay

o well maybe MS and lack of sleep driving me insane - sorry for warbling lmao just been looking forward to getting my neons for such a long time

Hi, Sarah,
if you can't expect us to understand the excitement of getting new fish - then I've no adequate comparison.
It sounds like a lovely tank with beautiful inhabitants coming in, and we'll be waiting for pics once it's set up.
The next best thing to gettig more fish/tanks oneself is hearing about somebody else's new acquisitions.
(Not that I don't prefer things the other way around, lol.)
And nelly's fish'll be in by now - same goes for you!
