I was at Petsmart last night picking up more food. I went to look at what fish they had and noticed these tiny guys in with the male guppies. I looked closer and saw 5 endlers! I bought 3 and put them in my livebearer tank. They are adorable! I have looked everywhere in town for these little guys! Who know Petsmart carried endlers?! :-D

Not yet. I'll post some tonight
I love endlers too! My local dobies garden world and pets at home both have them. They are so tiny and colourful! Can't wait to see pics :D

I know one of the local pets at home has some usually. but might mention Dobbies to the person in the family who likes them.

The dobbies in Edinburgh with butterfly world has some amazing fish including silver arowana. I got most my fish from dobbies since they have such a vast variety. The pets at home here only had 1 endler and there was 1 single endler in the Falkirk branch but now they have 3 or 4 so I am going to get one before they disappear.

Real endlers are quite rare in the US in a pet shop. Guppy/endler crosses are probably more common but finding guppies in a tank that show little development from their selective breeding is unfortunately not at all rare. The large chain stores are even more likely to have guppies closer to wild in appearance than the typical mom and pop stores. A wild looking guppy is not at all an endler, although it may look a bit like one to the uninitiated.

They are about half an inch or so. They're tiny! My 2.5 month old platy fry are bigger!

I searched everywhere for these little guys and finally found them when I was only there to buy more food. It's weird that a national chain store has them, but not anyone else.

I did :p lol. I've got 2 myself and I'm going to up to 4 soon I had 3 but I think one was bullied to death, or it was a female and that's why it was bullied to death. Had very very little coloring.

The fish in Nikkifro's pictures are much like my true endlers in appearance. I have yet to ever see any in a pet shop but have lots of them in my breeder tanks. (I am a registered breeder of wild type endlers.)

They are the ones we get here too, mostly grey with orange and black and very tiny!

The one in the first pic, left side, looks exactly like the mysterious guppy fry I've raised after 2 generations of breeding what seemed to be only guppies. o_O I never had endlers so, I don't know how those suddenly appeared out of a bunch of guppies that looked nothing like them.
The odd endlers / guppy hybrids or what ever they were had a gray forked tail but had exact red + black ellipsoid spots on their bodies.
