The bipolar state. Take a stab at it.
Finally rescaped! (And finally found the dang camera...)
Quite an adventure. So I went to Petco for 4 plants, and Hikari BioGold pellets. Then Petsmart for 2lbs white gravel. I was in such intense hurry when redoing the tank, I forgot to take before pictures! Don't think I can find the old ones... lol.
I first got the water ready, then went ahead and took out the betta. That went terrible though... I got them out very easily, but they were so stressed/scared, they lost all their colors in their return to the tiny cups!! I felt terrible.
I put the water level down to about only 20% water left in the tank. I washed the gravel SO many times, that easily took about 30minutes. Put everything back, yadda yadda, and I'm content. Even my mom think's it's prettier than before ;)

And, these are ALL Petco plants. They definitely have the best around. Wish they had a much bigger variety though, there's only about 10-ish to choose from?

Blue's Sleeping hideout...he sleeps behind it. So cute. Also goes there when he's scared of something (poor thing, lol)

And Red's Sleeping hideout. Also, behind the corner.

Hey, these shots are very nice and inspiring. I never thought that those tank dividers would look good. I considered them an eyesore, however with your setup, the brightness kinda makes it blend in. Today I may go out and purchase another Betta. I already own a white veil tail which is in a breeders box to keep him separate from the 29 gal community.

Lol, I actually debated myself over the color. I think white always has the nicest look, it's very clean, etc. And thank you :)

Some people love large amounts of color, but I'm gonna leave the color to my fish and the plants. Plus dividers like bright blue, or black (etc) will stand out like a nuisance (to me, anyway). Are you gonna divide your tank with your current and new betta? And have fun betta shopping! The funnest thing on the earth :)
