Final Stocking Ideas

Have a cycled 26 gallon bow front, and have stocked it thus far with:
3 sterbai corys
5 Blackskirt Tetras
3 Goldbar Platys

Looking to add just a few more fish. Ill most likely be adding a 4th sterbai, but am looking for ideas.. Thought about a dwarf gourami, but Ive read too much on here about their higher susceptibility to being diseased. This is my daughters tank that we work on together (she 7) so she thought about neon tetras, but its my understanding they are not compatible with the blackskirts... So any ideas would be welcome

Cardinals would be a better choice to neons. I'd get about 8 of them. Or add 1 or 2 more of the cories, 2-3 more black skirts and a center piece fish. My choice if you like gouramis would be a male pearl gourami, or a trio of honey dwarves. These are both peaceful healthy species. I hope this helps a little.
