Just wanted to update quickly:
Seaweed's been in quarantine for a while now and his fins are growing back really nicely
I'm really glad that I've not had to treat him with any meds. His colours have also gone amazingly vivid as well from not having Tyr flare at him all the time.
The only thing I've noticed is that his annal fin is lined with white, same as his ventral fins which have always been that colouration. His annal fins have re-growth too so could it be a slight loss of colouration from that?
I've decided to keep him in the 5.5 gal so that he doesn't have to go through this again. So I'm going to take him to uni with me. I'd only be away for max 2 weeks at a time (once for Christmas, and again for Easter), so if I got a feeding wheel, this should be no problem, should it? He loves his food and will take anything offered to him, so I wouldn't have to worry about him not eating.
