Fin Rot Help Please

Well theyve had 5 treatments now, and no change at all. Not worse, but not better.
Should i continue treatment, or just do a full water change and keep the water spotless and wait? Or just try to sort it out straight away with tetracycline? will google to see where i can get that from.

Well ive been keeping the water clean (sand clean & siphoning 50% every other day). Betta showing no improvement. Cory is worse. She has lost all of her tail now. What do I do? (is it absolutely necessary for cories to be able to gulp air? i'll have to lower the water level if yes)

Ive started on another round of Myxazin. Will see how that goes.

Corys do go up every so often to gulp air, with meds in the tank it may need more oxygen,do you have an airstone in there for this?

i dont know if it helps, but im currently using myxazin as a treatment for whitespot. i have turned the temp up and due to that have lowered the water level to increase oxygenation of the water. i have corys that have gone very lethargic int he higher temps, and they certainly do take a swim to the top for a gulp of air, despite the increased aeration. even at full water level (less aeration from water surface movement), at normal temps and no meds i very rarely see teh cory's swimming to the top.

from this brief experience im having of treatments and temps, it certainly makes them go to the top.

I dont atm, coz i have the filter water coming out at a height above the waterline so that lots of airbubbles are swishing around in the water. But i will add one today, just to improve things further. Thanks :good:

Poor panda cory isnt looking good  Shes barely moved today. Tbh i dnt even know if shes alive any more
If tetracycline was readily available here we wouldnt even be in this situation :shout:

Still alive but not able to swim properly because of lack of tail. the underneath fins look theyre rotting now. Strangely, the betta in the same tank is starting to look a bit better.
