My betta, Garry, who I've had for a while now seems to have faily weak fins.
When I first bought him, he was nipped at by my neons and he became fairly ill, his fins were a real mess. I removed him from the tank, let him recover and his fins were growing back fine. I put him back in the tank and he seems to act fairly healthy. His fins however still look fairly ragged round the edges and his 2 pelvic fins look a very pale colour but have grown back pretty well.
I do sometimes see that he has made a new rip in his fin but I don't have anything in the tank sharp enough to do it (I think).
There is no real emergency but I was wondering if there is some sort of treatment I can give him or what you guys use to promote healthier fins?
I try to incorporate more live foods into my fishes diet as I'd assume the more protienus foods they eat the better.
Ta!

Having his fins constantly nipped at will leave him prone to infection and makes for a very unhappy Betta. A 3 gal or bigger if you can would be perfect for him and you'll probably notice a huge change in his personality too
