Can I have your opinions on the following filtration for the tanks and their occupants? I am looking for canister filters in the future but nothing for now.
Current:
Tank 1 - 160 litre - Fluval 3+ and Fluval+ = 5 glass catfish, 10 neon tetras, 2 pearl gouramis, 10 gold peru cories & 6 caudimaculatus cories. Soon to add 5 guppies
Tank 2 - 96 litre - Fluval 2 + = 5 panda cories & 5 habrosus cories + to add soon 8 galaxy rasbora
Tank 3 - 54 litre - Fluval 2+ = soon to have 6 bronze cories and 6 black schultzei
Fluval 2+ = 400LPH / Fluval 3+ = 700LPH / Fluval 4+ = 1000LPH
I have today got a HJ 1152 which is 1200LPH
The plan is now to swap the filters around so the following:
Tank 1 - Fluval 4+ and HJ1152 = 2200LPH (which would give 13.75 turn over)
Tank 2 - Fluval 3+ = 700LPH (which would give 7 turn over)
Tank 3 - Fluval 2+ = 400LPH (which would give 7 turn over)
The question is where to put the second fluval 2+ as it is mature and would like to use to advantage. Tank 1 I feel has a good stocking and good filtration once swapped over with this filter. Tank 2 hasnt a heavy stocking and Tank 3 is a breeder tank so flow important with the two species but worried that two fluvals could be too much? If the two Fluval 2+ were to into the 54 litre how should they be placed for the cories?
