Filter ?

Hi, I have to ex1200 Filters on my tank with one at one end and the other at the other. Would I be better to put both intakes at one end and both outlets at the other?

I'm no expert, but I would imagine that would depend on the type of fish is the tank and if they require a lot of water flow. If the outputs are powerful enough to push a current all the way across the tank it could create a kind of stream or river effect. Maybe someone with more experience could chime in?

Malawi cichlids I have in there, As it is set up at the moment it keeps the water very clear and works very well. I was just thinking if it would be better set the other way so like you said it would cause a river effect
