i have the tetratec ex1200 in my tank,but i have been noticing recently that the front of my tank is nearly down to the glass bottom,is there any way i can stop this i have tried turning down the flow but does not seem to make a difference.any suggestions?

I m not sure what you mean.

I think he means that the substrate is being moved by the flow. Can you not just adjust the outlet or spray bar up slightly?
 
can't put the spraybar any further up.think i might invest in new sand.the sand in my tank just now is about 2 years old
 
Well you don't have to change substrate just because of that... You could make a slope so that the sand rises towards the back of the tank. This adds a nice depth to the tank and you have less sand in the front so it wont be moved by the water flow! :)

that didn't work already tried it,getting really pi**ed off with my tank looking cloudy all of the time
 
Oh didn't know you had corys...
I don't think that a substrate exchange is going to fix your problem. Are you sure you can't adjut the flow or the direction?
