Filter Wiped Out

been treating with various meds for about 4 weeks now ( all started with a molly that i bought that had mouth rot)

been teating the tank regularly, and doing water changes when i could in between treating ( used interpet mouth rot, anti whitespot)

the filter is a U 4 and its running in a 200L which is moderatly stocked ( lost most of my fish to mouthrot, then clown loaches to some internal infection)

the temp was raised during whitespot treatment, and lowered during mouth rot treatment

ammonia-0
nitrite-0
nitrate-0
its been like this for a couple of weeks, i did initally think that it was the meds, but treatment stopped on thursday and a water change was done,

i know its not a dodgy kit as its about 7 weeks old and gives me nitrate readings on my other tanks

any ideas? the last thing i want is for anything else to get sick now, think i would rip the tank down if that happened

just to add, that theres about 12 fish left in there ,so theres deffo enough to give a reading of something, they are all fed 3 times a day, so left over food should be doing something to the results? and itd deffo not a case of me doing too many water changes,as i couldnt during treatment,

is it normal for this to happen, and am i now going to go thru a fish in cycle? or will my nitrates slowly creep back up

if you think you've wiped out the bacteria in your filter with the meds chick, can you not borrow some filter media from another tank to give it a bit of a boost?

I would def do that.
After the meds are out of the water, just take a little bit of media from one of your other tanks to help the other one along. Hopefully it'll work.. keep an eye on water stats just in case though of course

Its possible you havent wiped your bacteria out, or there would be ammonia or nitrIte showing, your nitrAtes are low because of all the water changes, whats your tap water nitrAte reading?

To be honest, judging by what my stats were like with my mollys. Id say that youd see ammonia and nitrite if you were going through a fish in cycle.
