Filter Question?

Hi everybody!

I bought a Rena Aquarama 60 a few months ago.....and it came with a standard Rena Filstar filter....can anybody tell me exactly which one this is.....I have looked online and I think it's the IV1 but mine did not come with the plastic pointy thing....do you have to buy this separately?

Okay I pulled the filter out and had a good look at it....and it says (Mod: Fiv2)....so I then assumed it must be a Rena Filstar IV2 internal filter? But it doesn't look like the pictures in the link below? I don't have the pointy bit - the "air venturi system" I think?

i have a rena filstar filter in my fry tank, i think its rena 1, mine is different to the pic, mine has a small round outlet instead of a big nosel, can you post a pic of yours? maybe they changed the design

I have a 54l / 12 gal (UK) tank and I wanted to be sure this filter is sufficient
In the picture you can't really see the nozzle very well but there is not airstone type device just a round nozzle where the water comes out?

The filter you have is a rena iv2, which is sufficient for your tank.

As far as i know the nozzle is optional.

I have owned rena iv1,iv2 and iv3 and none have come with the nozzle attachment.

Any ideas where you can get the nozzle attachment?

Sorry can't help you with that, i've havn't seen them anywhere - i'd google it and see if you can find a shop that supplies them.

Yeah tried that but didn't really come up with anything.....will try again.
