Filter Making A Noise

iv got a fluval 205 filter and its making a noise, it sounds like traped air but iv pumped it and it fixes it for abit, the problems intermittent, any ideas on how to solve it?

is there trapped sand in it? my filter gets noisy when sand gets in it

i dont think so, it sounds more like when they start up with air in it, iv dismantled it any put it all back but still happens

Probably a silly question, but have you tried tilting it?

is is like it is still starting but it sounds like it is almost done, but it just keeps going?
