Filter identification...Bubble nests. HELP!!!!!

So, i have this filter, from aqueon. But, i dont know what type this is. For example canistet, HOB etc. Also, my betta has not really been building any Bubble nests lately, for the past month or so. Is this normal? He used to do it alot. I have read that if the flow of filter is too strong, that may discourage your fish to build Bubble nests. Is this true? Also, do i need to change to a filter with a softer flow? You can find videos and pictures below. My betta is about 2.5 years old. He is in a 2.65 gallon with the Aqueon Quiet-flow. Heated with Marina heater. A few decorations. All im wondering is, what type of filter is mine? Why isnt my betta building Bubble nests anymore? He used to alot. Is this an indication of illness or uncontentment or stress? Do i need to change to a filter with a gentler flow? And lastly, will my little dude be alright? Thank you so much, Please reply soon!

How can I encourage my betta to build bubble nests more? Please help!!!
