Some time ago, I had a (spontaneously) shattered 48 x 24 x 18” tank, which I sent in for repairs…… I honestly forgot about the tank, although I paid up front.
Today, I had a surprise visit when the tank was delivered to my house by the Glass Company who fixed it. (Must be about 6 months)
Well….. It’s been many, many moons since I put up a new tank and I completely forgot about that sensation which one experiences when filling up a new tank…. The anticipation and standing back a little, just in case the tank should suddenly burst or something…. I was 20 years younger again today, (recalling those feelings), but 20 years older by the time the tank was full… (worrying)
Do you just fill up a new (or repaired) tank and trust that it’ll be fine, or do you also worry a little???
B.T.W…… I’m setting this one up outside with heaters and all, but still haven’t got the foggiest clue what I’m going to use it for….. Any suggestions???
