Fifteen wonderful years

15 years ago, my dad bought a common plec for the 40 gallon tank..two weeks before I was born. Today he died peacefully, about a month before my 15th birthday. This death is sadder than all the other fish deaths that I have had combined. Goobye Hoover, RIP.

What a great life he must have had. Hoover is a testament to fish longevity, and a message to those who view fish as "disposable pets".

Im so sorry for you loss, i cant even imagine i mean ive lost a cat of 17 years and i have a fish now for 3 that i cant even imagine losing. Thats great that he lived that long. How big was hoover? Having a nice ceremony for hoover would be a fun idea
