:) A couple days ago, my mom's friend brought me a female fiddler crab. I asked her if it was fine with the fish in my 46 gallon tank (guppies, mollies and platies mainly) and she said yes. I called two different pet stores just to comfirm that the crab would not eat my fish, but they both had different opinions.

Can a fiddler crab and livebearers go together peacefully? :dunno:

:dunno: I can only tell you the things I've heard, and thats that no crab and fish go together really because sooner or later the crab will just snatch a fish when they're sleeping ... cant hurt to get more opinions on this though

I've never had a crab, but I've heard the same thing as Erised. Most will eat your fish. I would think fiddlers would be definatly eat your fish. -_-

As stated above...the crab will eventually try and eat your fish...In the wild they use their claws to snatch passing fish and restrain them while they feed. I've got a friend who has kept a fidler crab with large cichlids...but i wouldn't recommend it with the fish you have.. guppies/mollies and platies will be an easy snack for it.
