what lighting do you have?
What size tank (US gallons)?

thanks.

the tank is about 624 litres
it has 2 anubis 35w t8 plant grow tubes and two 25w daylight tubes i wont be transfering these to my new tank when i get it ast they hardly ever work properly and the front bank had the same tubes but now doesnt work at all so im now down to four tubes instead of 8  owh well

not much lighting then, personally on a tank that size feel t5's would be better or even T5HO

do you know of any companey in suffolk norfolk or essex that do custom built tanks and if so do you know if they can build it in your house? i would like a bow front but if i cant find a tank builder that can build it in my house i may have to scrap that option

i will upgrade the lighting when i get my new tank

try:
anubias sp.
microsorum sp
bolbitis sp.
moss balls
elodea densa
hygrophillia polysperma
mosses
echindorous sp
crytocoryne sp.

Try aquariums ltd, they so custom made tanks that are good quality :good:

im considering adding a 3x2x2 sump to the tank and adding nitrate loving plants in it and maybee a few fish in there as well anything you can recomend i am considering co2 on both tanks if i doit in this manor

i was thinking about runing the sump as a seperate tank connected to the bigger one with verry low stocking but lots of plants added as a way of keeping a lower nitrate value and a way to sneak another smaller tank in without to many complaints from my parrents i would add co2 to both tanks and would still be running two externals

When the water passes over the weir, and travels down to the sump, there is LOADS of surface agitation and it will be pointless injecting CO2, most of it will just gas off. It would be better to just buy a small internal for the sump then run the tank seperatley to the main tank.
This way, you can keep both tanks, both can have fish, plants, CO2 whatever, but you won't be losing any CO2.
