My 1st act as mod will be to close this post as we're off topic.

Seriously though i've got a couple of ideas that i'd like to involve people in like getting a much better list of African's in the profile section - I just need some help on how to pin stuff etc but we'll get there.

I'm thinking Druchii - Saulosi, Afra's - Adambrum. I'm not going to list any more as i'll upset someone by leaving them out but you get the idea.

So if anyone has any thoughts or wants to do a profile let me know and i'll probably post them in the wrong section.

The "pinned topics" section at the top could do with expanding as a lot of the same topics get brought up each month.
Types of Rocks for use in an Mbuna aquarium springs to mind, I might volunteer for that one unless someone else would like to.
Maybe a few experienced members could get some information together as and when to contribute to these ?

Great idea - told you you should be a mod.

If you want to write a piece on rocks, go for it and i'll try my best to get it in the right place. I've had a nice PM from Annastasia offering to help with the controls etc and i think i'll be taking her up on that.

I would definatly like to contribute to the profile section and if I can help with pinned topic even better. I am aware that people should write profiles with a number of years experience with each individual fish (this will obviously not be me) but IMO I think it would be useful to have just a picture for identification and if there is information attached then all the better.

What have i started - i get the feeling ferris is going to be busy checking profile and pinned topic submissions

Bring it on guys - if you take the time to write them, i'll be happy to double-check them although if anyone does Tang's i may be spending a few hours on google.

Take a look at what we have in the profile section, or more importantly what we don't have and the same goes for pinned topics. Although we don't want to go mad with those, we could combine some issues into 1 post to avoid the whole 1st page being pinned topics

Here's a challenge for you - if anyone can get close to the quality of cichlidaddict/freddyk's post "The Mbuna Aquarium" I'll be really impressed - That's pulitzer prize winning stuff.

Just a quick afterthought - please make sure you read the relevant rules and use the correct format when submitting fish profiles. The format is especially important, have a look at the existing entries if you're not sure.

P.S - @Druchii - There is already a Saulosi profile i've just noticed (oops) but i'm sure you'd love to do something else.
