You really don't have to start worry about her eating for a while.
I had a girl - who remained perfectly healthy the entire time - who went for 12 days with eating NOTHING. She was just small and i'm sure it was because she was VERY particular about what she ate.

I have a feeling that if the columnaris was going to get her, it would long before the starvation would.

Hang in there - you're doing what you can for her

I really don't want to seem over positive, but she is swimming normally right now. Her face is still showing signs of the disease, but her fins aren't clamped any more. I am not too concerned about her not eating. I know that they can go a long time without it.

I keep checking on the tank and rooting for her. I dreaded turning on the light this morning cause I thought I would find her body. She has one strong will to live. I am so proud of her. Well I am off to clean the multitude of tanks. Thanks for all your help and support.

Well I gotta say, today really sucked. Cookie gave into the columnaris. That and I can't find my cat. He has been gone for three days. So ya, today blew the big one. Oh and I am pretty sure one of my dwarf neon rainbows has dropsy. I am treating with M2 right now. Thanks for everyone's help. It was appreciated. I am going to treat one more day per the directions, and hopefully another one doesn't get sick.

So sorry about Cookie. Just hang in there about your cat though. My Persian never-been-outside-12-year-old-baby disappeared right before Christmas and was gone for 20 days before we got her back. It was awful, but she is home now and fat and sassy as ever.

I'm so sorry about little Cookie.
You were such a great betta mom to her.
You tried your best - unfortunately, sometimes our best just isn't good enough to pull them thru. It was just her time.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. The other girls seem ok. Now if only my cat would come home. Why is it when things are looking up something terrible has to happen. I guess it is God's way of keeping us grounded. I am going to go and study as I have a big final in Accounting today. Then I am going to get me a new betta boy to make me feel better.
