Female Sword Tail Died During Pregnancy

Hi, errmmm my female sword tail just died infront of me and my mother, just as it was about to give birth...now we can see the lil things moveing around in her stomach..but she hemreged or however you spell it...are there any chance these things will get out of her before they die???. and do Female Sword Tails normally die during pregnancy??

maybe she had a weak heart and the stress of birth and labour triggered a heart attack.
