Hi,My tank is 115lt (~30g) and I had only a male and a female opaline gourami. The male was too agressive, so I decided to return it and bought another female opaline and 2 female golden. The first female opaline was hidden but now where the male is gone, it attacks the new 3 fish, not only the golden.I did not rearanged the tank deco because there is nothing much to change,a few rocks ,some plants and a piece of wood. How about keeping the agressive fish in a small tank (that I use to transport fish) for a while ?(half an hour)

Thanks

I'd suggest taking her out temporarily, rearrange what's in the tank, maybe add some more plants (I really am very anal about having loads of plants for gouramies) and then put her back in. Hopefully that should help calm her down. You should expect some issues anyway. After all she's the long time resident as far as she's concerned. They also need to sort out their hierarchy so there will be some aggression for the first few days. If it continues beyond that then you have a problem.
Hugs,
P.
