Female Betta With Guppies?

I have a 10G tank and I was originally going to get a male betta but i think i'm going to go for female/s now as they're more likely to get along in a community tank?

I was in an aquatics store today and I saw some lovely female bettas and various kinds of guppies. Would a female get along with guppies? Particularly endler guppies, double swordtail guppies and red cobra guppies.
How many guppies and female bettas would be best for my tank? Also is it OK to mix and match the guppy species together, if you know what I mean?

yes they are better in community tanks then males.

As far as im aware they should be fine in with guppys but please let someone back me up before getting them

they can go in community tanks but it depends on the fish i used to have a betta in with guppies and they actual builed her but other females will just killl the guppies so its just luck
