Feeding....

Was previously told twice a day and now once a day...

Which is it!?!

Started by feeding twice a day but were told that would be over feeding the fish so are currently feeding them once a day!

Want to make sure they are being fed right.....

I suppose it depends what you have, i feed my fish twice, once in a morning, and once at tea-time, they gobble it all up, and there is no waste....

They have bloodworms, flakes, fish treats, algae tablets, brocoli, peas etc... (not all at once, this is just the variety i give them !)

Well small amounts twice a day is better than one huge portion once a day. If nitrates don't climb too high during the week, i guess the feeding is ok

Phew was a bit confused then! That would be some BIG fish! hehe

With what I have in my tank (see sig) do you think twice a day would be a gd idea??

Maybe 2 smaller portions rather than one large portion would be a gd idea....

Scared 2 over feed, but have 2 make sure I am feeding them enough!

i feed small portions twice a day, once in the morning when i get up and in the evening when i get home from work
only waste is poopy!

Ok sorry I wasn't more specific in my other post. In the morning I typically just feed normal flake food, and in the afternoon I feed either shrimp pellets, algae wafers, zuchini, or some other more "exotic" food
