Hi all.

The story so far - I've got a treasure chest and a bubble blowing fish statue (and two young kids hence the ornaments!). I thought that feeding both from one pump would be a simple case of buying a T splitter for the air hose and then feeding both items....

...but this is not the case, as I guess you all know. Think physics got the better of me. Only one of the items will blow air, the one who's air outlet is highest - even if it's less than in inch different.

So my question is, can it be done? Do I need two pumps of a different type if hose splitter. Fingers crossed.

Thanks.

You need a little two-gang set of valves. They are usually a small plastic piece that hangs over the tank side - the pump airline comes in, then before each of the two outlet lines go out, there is a valve with a small knurled knob the can turn to individually adjust the pressure to that line. You may have to search the online outlets.

you got one pump so that needs a t junction to split the line into 2. Then each of those needs a control valve. Sometimes it takes ages to get them both working, and sometimes one line will need a clamp as well. Do you want me to look under my sink? I got a box of bits and bobs.

True enough, if you can't find a double-gang, you can split and then use two singles, and I agree, getting the pressures you want can be a pain sometimes!
