Some pics of all my fish, apart from ottos, trying to get a piece of an algae tablet.

In this pic you can see one of the young danios(the hybrid) I raised. I'm so proud.

Wow i love your extended fin danios  ! I only get the old short tailed versions of danios at my lfs but i would definatly get some if they had the high fin variation ones

Common as muck up here in Scotland! One of my zebra girls has a tattie tail at the moment but I'd prefer to leave it to heal naturally. Hope It's just down to the males chasing for some fun. I've found the long finned variety just get injured more easily with their type of fins :dunno:

In the past when i used to buy lots of delta tailed guppys(long tailed ones) their fins would rip when the water current from the tank filter is too strong, lowering the strength of flow helps their fins to heal much faster and im sure it'll do good for your long tailed danios too  .

It's just I've noticed m dominant male long-finned danio sometimes looks pretty beat up, split fins etc, when he's been spawning all morning. On the other hand, she may have been surfing in the current too much. You gotta love em though :D .
