Feeding My L134

Am i right that they are meat eaters? It will eat peas and cucumber but how do i get things like blod worm to it? It lives in a community tank so there is no chance of it getting blood worm that i drop in from the top! Is there a pelet form of food other than alge wafers that are suited!

Hi, I feed my king tigers these Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets and I know quite a few other people do.

They’re great for any meat eating pleco, chopped up prawn, mussels or cockles also seem to be enjoyed. If he doesn’t seem interested in them try soaking them with a little garlic but take the garlic out before you feed.

try some frozen Krill

you can get it in most LFS's.

Leave it to defrost, and then it sinks straight to the bottom

My BN's love it

Also, try adding frozen blood worm after lights out, the other fish won't touch it then.

Are u in the UK? it's freely available here, shouldnt see why its banned.

Hikari products haven't been 'banned' in the Uk, it's just that the last shipment into Europe was blocked and returned to Japan. This was due to Hikari not supplying the relevant documents detailing the percise ingredients in their products !!

Hence why there's a national shortage!!
