As of tomorrow, my 20 Kribensis fry will be 1 month old.

My question is, how long do I have to feed these little guys 2 or more times a day? I feed them a mix of BBS, First Bites and crushed up flake food.

The rest of my fish (adults) I just feed once a day. When can I do the same for my Kribensis fry?

Thanks!

p.s. The Kribensis parents are going to have another batch of fry! Oh yeah! The female has her little "egg tube" out, so I know she is going to lay soon!

As long as you want. They will grow faster being fed more in a day. I would upgrade into sinking pellets for them.

Thanks for the response!

What brand of pellets might you suggest?

What I meant was, when can I feed only once a day and not worry about them dying off?

The first batch I had I only fed once a day, not knowing any better, and the fry died off in about a week.

Thanks again!

I don't suggest feeding once a day. Why don't you want to feed them more than once a day? I would suggest this:

You can get a pound of it for 4 dollars! It's great food. I've been feeding it to my yellow Labs and they are growing like weeds!

I was just curious, that's all.

I don't mind feeding them a couple times a day, I love feeding and then watching.

Which fry starter should I get?

#1, #2 or #3?

Thanks again, Krib! You've been great help throughout this entire time!
