What is the general rule for feeding fish. I currently have 2 black lyetail mollies, 1 dalmation mollie, 1 lyetail dalmation mollie, 2 fancy guppies and 2 fry plattys.
The guppies and the plattys just came today but before I was feeding once a day, all they could eat in a minute to two minutes.
Is that to much? Is that to little? Should I be feeding more than once a day? I dont want my fish to go hungry! I should add I do have live plants in there to they seem to like eating.
Thanks ;)

Most all fish will over eat given the chance. This will lead to problems. It's always better to under feed than over feed. As long as you see all the fish getting some at each feeding, once a day should be fine.
