Bought a can of baby shrimp (sun dried gammarus) tonight along with a bag of algae wafers. Just wondering if the baby shrimp are okay to feed the mollies and platies?

I also hope that its alright that the mollies were pecking at the leaf of romaine lettuce that I put in there for the snail.....

I don't think there's a problem with feeding the shrimp, but I'm not 100% sure. As for the lettuce, it should be harmless, and you'll never stop them from doing it anyway. Platys and mollies are greedy eaters, and they'll try everything you put in the tank. My platys will steal algae tablets from my bristlenose and carry it around the tank for a while until they decide they can't swallow it.

Any of the mollies, platies, swords, guppies, endlers type fish in a tank will benefit from the lettuce as much as the snails do. Although they eat live food, they often do well with a diet high in vegetable matter. It not only won't hurt them, it's likely to result in healthier fish.
