feeding brine-shrimp?

My first batch of live brine shrimp just started hatching and i've read somewhere that you can feed them to keep them alive longer than 2 days. is this easy or not. what do you feed them? where do i get the food?

I've read about feeding yeast, which I've done, but I don't like the smell. It seems to go bad fast. I've given them ordinary green algae, which they SEEM to like, although the algae doesn't last too long in salt water. I've never kept them more than about a week because it was too hard to clean their water without losing a lot of shrimp.

do they grow at all in the week or not really?
