I have had my Leporinus for almost 8 weeks now, and it is doing very well. I have been feeding it a variety of frozen foods, flakes and I just started feeding it Meal Worms. I was unsure if the Leporinus would even like the worms, and figured the Pike Cichlids would be more inclined. But it seems that the pikes hate the Meal Worms and the Leporinus likes them.
I was wondering if there would be any vegetables that the Leporinus would take to? I was hoping to get some vegetable matter in its diet.

Hi yeah good tank mate for the pikes IMO :)Just pushy enough to establish its self against them.

I have some Annostomus and they love to eat algae wafers they kind of fall over backwards to eat it lol Ive heard of them eating lettuce as well.

PS we want pics!!1

The Leporinus doesn't hasitate to take the worms from the pikes or to push them off if they are being a pain. They seem to get along fine, now perhaps in a smaller tank there would be more aggression.
I try to get some pics.
